If you’ve booked a transfer from the Port of Civitavecchia, meeting your CabRoma driver is easy and hassle-free.

There is no need to take any shuttle bus to reach your driver — our vehicles are fully authorized with special port access permits that allow us to enter directly into the restricted dock area.

How to Meet Your CabRoma Driver at Rome Airports

Fiumicino Airport (FCO) – Terminal 1 & Terminal 3

Fiumicino Airport is the main international airport in Rome. Depending on your arrival terminal, here’s where to meet your CabRoma driver:

Terminal 3 (T3)

After collecting your luggage and clearing customs, proceed to the Meeting Point area near the columns. Your driver will be waiting there with a sign displaying your name.

Terminal 1 (T1)

Once you exit through the automatic sliding doors after baggage claim, your driver will be right outside the terminal, clearly visible and holding a name sign.

Our drivers are always on time, courteous, and easily identifiable.

Ciampino Airport (CIA)

Ciampino is a smaller, easy-to-navigate airport with one single arrival exit. After collecting your luggage, exit through the glass doors — your driver will be waiting just outside with a sign bearing your name.

Information about flight delays

Flight delays of one hour or more may result in Cabroma rescheduling pick-ups with the first available driver. IF A  RESCHEDULING IS NECESSARY, Cabroma will contact you via email or WhatsApp to inform you of the first available pick-up time at no additional cost. If the new time is not acceptable, the traveler can cancel without any penalties. 

Where to Meet Your Driver – Pick-up from Hotels or Apartments in Rome

For transfers departing from hotels, B&Bs, or private accommodations in Rome, your CabRoma driver will meet you at the most convenient and accessible location based on your property.

Hotels with Reception

If you're staying at a hotel with a reception area, your driver will meet you inside the lobby, or in another designated area authorized by the hotel staff.

Apartments or B&Bs without a Lobby

If your accommodation does not have a lobby or reception, your driver will be waiting outside the main entrance of the pick-up address provided during booking.

Limited Traffic or Pedestrian Zones

Some streets or squares in central Rome are restricted to vehicle access. In these cases, your driver will park as close as legally possible, meet you on foot at your address, and walk with you to the vehicle.
Please note: door-to-door service may not be possible in restricted areas.

   • Make sure the phone number you provide is correct, functional, and has WhatsApp installed.
   • Keep your phone switched on throughout your trip to Italy so we can contact you if needed.

2. Communication via WhatsApp

   • Our drivers do not send international messages or make international calls. Therefore, having WhatsApp installed on your device is essential for communication.

3. Driver Language Skills

   • Not all our drivers are fluent in English; some may speak only basic English.
   • For any specific requests or issues, please contact our office promptly via WhatsApp or email.

4. Booking Confirmation Email

   • You will receive an email immediately after booking. If you don’t see it in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder.
   • The service is considered confirmed only after you confirm via the booking email.

5. Availability Notice

   • If our system indicates that there is no availability, this means we are unable to provide the service for the requested time.

6. Port Pick-Up and Drop-Off

   • Our drivers will pick you up or drop you off directly at your ship. You won’t need to take a shuttle to exit the port.

7. Vehicle Suitability

   • We always send a vehicle appropriate for the number of passengers and luggage specified during your booking.
